Diagnostic description:
Annual herb, erect or decumbent, branched, woody at the base appressed hairy. Leaves simple or trifoliolate, linear-oblong to lanceolate, 3-6 cm long, slightly pubescent. Inflorescence terminal or axillary raceme. Flowers red, small. Calyx 4-6 mm long, much longer than the first joint of the pod, lobes lanceolate. Standard 4-6 mm long. Pod moniliform, 0.7-1.2 cm long, transversely ridged, puberulous.
Distribution:
Widely distributed in tropical Africa, Saudi Arabia. The Farasan Islands(Farasan Al-Kabir).
