Tree, up to 5 m tall, wide spreading, flat topped or umbrella shaped, young branchlets glabrous to pubescent. Stipular spines in pairs, short, hooked and up to 5 mm long, mixed with other straight ones up to 3.5 cm long. Leaves: pinnae 3-5 pairs; leaflets 6-10 pairs. Flowers in heads, white-cream peduncles 0.2-2 cm long. Calyx 1-2 mm long. Corolla 1.3-2.2 mm long. Pods spirally twisted, pubescent, slightly constricted between the seeds, longitudinally veined, 3-5 mm wide, shortly pubescent.
Africa- Saudi Arabia. The Farasan Islands(Farasan Al-Kabir).
